For bright eyes, use white eyeliner or a shadow to dot some white right against the inner corners of your eyes.
Mascara and an eyelash curler can enhance the lashes and make them look bolder. Use mascara on the upper lashes only. On the bottom, you will only draw more attention to any under eye imperfections. Curling your lashes will give them body. Straight lashes can actually shadow the eye area (who knew?) while curling them opens up your eyes.
Follow your crease. When you want to make your eyes look bigger, you have to pay attention to placement. For example, when you’re applying eye shadow or liner, go all the way to the extension of your crease. Make sure to arc the shadow beginning from the outer corners of your eyes to the center of your lids.
There are dozens of ways to make your eyes look bigger using eyeliner. Experiment. Try only lining half of your lower lash line (almond eyes anyone?) and experiment with different colors.
I love a good highlighter. Use a highlighter near the inner corners of your eyes and use it to contour your brow bones to help lighten up your eyes. If your eyes look lighter they’ll open up and look bigger.
If you spend some time working out what looks best for you, then you’ll have big, beautiful eyes in no time!
