11 more days until Valentine’s Day and we know some of us will be scrambling to put a look together for our date night!
The go-to date night for Valentine’s Day is usually a dinner at a nice restaurant, or a home-cooked dinner date for those that enjoy a more intimate setting. Our looks for him and her will definitely suit any occasion. Unless you’re going to play sports…then we’d suggest something else.
We found a beautiful dress that is perfectly aligned with the spirit of Valentine’s Day. Photo credit of this Moschino Valentine Dress goes to www.renttherunway.com. The cutout heart style is the focus of this dress so we agree with their advice – keep accessories minimal.
Shoes can make or break an outfit so we kept the suggestion simple. REALOVE sandals from Steve Madden are sophisticated, chic and accent the dress perfectly.
Now for a home manicure – we suggest OPI Malaga Wine. Part of OPI’s Classic collection, it is a deep and rich color that we love!
We meant it when we said that this dress should be the main headliner. With that said, we thought a soft blow out would work great! A smooth hairstyle with incredible shine – that’s romantic. Use a large round brush when blow drying your hair with a dryer like Bio Ionic Whisper Light Pro-Dryer. While brushing and drying, make sure to lend a slight curve at the ends. When your hair is dry, spray a shine mist for a shiny finish.
After all that, tie the look together with flirty and flushed makeup. Note that you should select products that will make that effect for you and looks like a natural glow. Try TIGI Cosmetics Decadent Lipstick in Beauty, Glow Blush in Lovely and make your lashes pop with mascara that helps create thick lashes.
Gentlemen, we didn’t forget you. From hair care to your date night outfit, we have got you covered. Stay tuned for our next post!
