Floral, sweet, fresh and cool – there are so many perfume and cologne scents available that it is almost impossible to not find one perfect for you.
When you’re in a rush to get somewhere, it is easy to be a little messy with the perfume application and on many occasions, we have sprayed on too much.
An excess of perfume or cologne can make others around you extremely uncomfortable. It may even cause sneeze attacks in large numbers.
Here are the different ways you can fix it:
(Gentlemen, this tip can be applicable for cologne as well.)
- Soak cotton balls with rubbing alcohol. Dab it on the area of your skin where you applied the perfume on cologne. Alcohol will help neutralize the scent.
- Use a fragrance-free lotion in the area of application to cover up the scent.
- Use baby wipes to remove “layers” of the perfume or cologne – simply wipe away.
