Nothing is more expressive than the expressions coming from your face. Your eyes, mouth and eyebrows all contribute to expressing happiness, frustration and sadness. (Of course, this isn’t the full range of emotions we feel but just to name a few.)
Eyebrows are one of our favorite facial features. The ability to frame the face and the monumental change that freshly groomed brows can bring is astonishing. The shape, the length of your brow and the boldness can make a huge difference on your look.
Bold brows are a welcomed beauty statement and trend. We don’t mean for you to plaster pencil liner or brow shadows onto them, but we do suggest to go for defined and bold brows.
This bold brow tutorial walks you through the important tips of creating bold brows with a brow pencil without going overboard in the shading.
You will need:
- Brow Pencil
(A two-in-one brow pencil liner will come in handy. i.e. TIGI Cosmetics Brow Pencil)
STEP 1: Begin with your natural brows. Make sure to tweeze stray hairs and brush brows with a spoolie.
STEP 2: Start underneath the eyebrow and create a fine line. You want to follow your eyebrow’s shape until the end of your brow.
STEP 3: Locate the highest point of your brow and connect the line to the line from STEP 2. Fill in that space.
STEP 4: Fill in the rest of the brow with light strokes. You don’t want to press down hard with the brow pencil.
STEP 5: To soften the look, brush through using an eyebrow brush or spoolie.
STEP 6: Repeat on the other brow and enjoy!
