The French discovered greatness in a bottle. Of course they did.
This centuries old 3-in-1 solution can replace your cleanser, toner and moisturizer all in one use. It was popular in France because the water supply was too harsh on skin. This type of water offered a gentler alternative and great results.
What is micellar water?
Micelles suspended in soft water. Micelles are tiny oil molecules that help draw out makeup, sebum, grime and other impurities from skin’s pores. Consider them magnets that absorb all the gunk stuck in your pores.
This is why you can find this in any model’s makeup bag, in a makeup artist’s arsenal of beauty products, at photo shoots, backstage – everywhere.
A no-rinse formula, it leaves behind glowing, hydrated skin.
It doesn’t feel oily and there is no sting.
A caveat though – for the super stubborn waterproof makeup, you may need to first use makeup remover and then follow with micellar water to ensure a thorough cleanse.
Simply apply to a cotton pad and wipe away the day’s impurities.
For those worried about it clogging pores or not, it doesn’t. Even the most sensitive skin types can take advantage of this product.
